Mailbox Service
Read NexMask mailbox plans and domains, buy temporary or mainstream mailboxes, list purchased mailboxes, sync their inboxes, and read email details. Purchases take only business parameters; the server charges the account balance at the current price. Purchases are not refundable.
Syncing and reading details both use the local mailbox record id; the mailId for details is the numeric email ID returned by /mail/pull, not the Message-ID. For the conventions shared by all service endpoints, see Service and authentication.
Agent/MCP interactive tasks wait 180 seconds by default. Confirmed receiving timeouts or site rejection of a format, domain, suffix or provider trigger a suitable replacement, with at most 3 attempts including the first; type changes do not reset the count. waitSeconds, onlyNew and timezone-qualified ISO receivedAfter on nex_mail_message_list control local MCP waiting/filtering, not /mail/pull parameters. Send again after replacement and match codes to the current mailbox and sending time. Reconcile unknown purchase outcomes before further spending.

/mail/buyBuy mailbox
Purchases a temporary or mainstream mailbox for receiving email and charges the account balance; refunds, renewals, and custom prefixes are not supported after purchase.
Request parameters
| Field | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
type | string | Required | Mailbox type: TEMPORARY temporary mailbox, MAINSTREAM mainstream mailbox |
durationHours | string | Required | Duration enum: HOUR_1, DAY_1, DAY_7, DAY_30, DAY_120; must be a duration available in /mail/plans |
domainId | number | Optional | TEMPORARY only, from /mail/domains; upstream assigns one if omitted |
suffix | string | Optional | Required for MAINSTREAM: gmail.com, googlemail.com, outlook.com, hotmail.com; not allowed for TEMPORARY |
Notes
- After business parameter validation, the request is submitted once and the server calculates and charges the current price. The client does not pre-check prices, stock, or plans; the server validates permission and balance.
- Not retried automatically after submission; on timeout or an unclear result, check /mail/records and /billing/trades first instead of purchasing again.
- Returns -1100 if an identical purchase under the same sign-in and team is still processing; also returns -1100 if no team is selected.
- Returns -1100 when suffix is passed for TEMPORARY or domainId is passed for MAINSTREAM. The server validates plan status; business errors pass through unchanged.
- Mainstream mailboxes are for receiving email only; no mailbox sign-in password is provided.
